Named after the Arctic whales that can sometimes be spotted along Washington’s Pacific Coast, Bowhead brings together two of the state’s historic industries: whaling and wine.

 85% stainless steel fermentation on French oak, 15% barrel fermentation; 6 months aging in mostly French oak. Rich, medium-bodied wine, hints of oak, lush tropical fruit flavors.

Made from Albariño grown in their highest-altitude, less humid, cooler vineyards, thus favoring slower ripening, resulting in a fresher wine of great aromatic intensity, acidity and smoothness on the palate.

Pale golden color with perfect clarity. On the nose, it is open and fruity with concentrated aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. Fine and expressive in mouth with good acidity and freshness. The finish is balanced and long.

Maddalena Riesling reveals aromas of apricot, honey, and wildflowers. The rich mouth greets the palate with fresh fruit flavors of pear and green apple. This elegant wine balances natural acidity and sweetness.

The Gooseberry Bush is a fresh and racy mix of grassy, kiwi-fruit-scented Colombard and lemony Sauvignon Blanc, picked in the early morning and fermented cool. A great party white or glass solo, or partner to spicy stir-fry and salads.
